Software Engineer
My name is Javier, I graduated from the University of Michigan with a major in computer science. I have a strong interest in blockchain technologies and DeFi protocols and since late 2025 I have been involved in the space through personal projects, attending conferences, youtube videos, and of course twitter(X). I created this portfolio to display protocols I have created on ethereum.
My technical experience leans towards the fintech area of Blockchain, however I am also interested in governance along with spreading the technology that I believe can be very beneficial to our society if more people understood and knew how to use it.
On-Chain Work
Six SpeedRunEthereum challenges — each deployed live on Sepolia. Click any card to open the live app.
Stake ETH into a contract with a time-limited deadline and threshold. If enough is raised, funds execute an external contract — otherwise stakers can withdraw.
ERC-721 NFT collection with on-chain metadata stored on IPFS. Mint, view, and transfer digital assets — ownership verified on-chain.
A vending machine for ERC-20 tokens. Buy tokens with ETH or sell them back — the vendor contract acts as the always-on market maker at a fixed exchange rate.
An Automated Market Maker DEX with liquidity pools. Swap tokens using the constant-product formula, add/remove liquidity, and watch prices update in real time.
Post ETH as collateral, borrow stablecoins, and manage your health factor. Includes liquidation mechanics and flash loan support.
Privacy-preserving governance using zero-knowledge proofs. Cast your vote without revealing your identity — eligibility proven cryptographically, not by disclosure.
Background
Building systems where no single party holds the keys, where the rules are code and the code is public.
Working through architecture problems eligantly and creatively on blockchain, not only focusing on maximizing token emissions or deploying a project without thought.
Censorship Resistance, Openess, Privacy, Security(CROPS) through public networks. I believe this is fundimental and truly beneficial for blockchain.
The world of crypto is still young, applications are limitless whether it's for new DeFi protocols, governance capabilities, dApp development etc. Might as well build and explore ideas to improve capabilities of blockchain technology.
